We started today very early at 6am and cycled across Dartmoor National Park... it was beautiful! There were wild ponies, sheep and cattle and the moor was very misty and bleak. Dartmoor is a very mountainous region but as we cycled further into Devon the journey got easier and we cycled past Exeter, Wellington and Taunton and then through the Cheddar Valley which was incredibly beautiful as the sun was going down. We cycled all day again today - adding another 100 miles to our total distance. Tomorrow we are going to try and cycle 110 miles to reach a campsite just north of Leintwardine, in Shropshire. Already we have been through Cornwall, Devon and Somerset - we are making good progress and can't wait to begin day 3 tomorrow!
